Maroon 5 Announces 2018 Red Pill Blues Tour Through North America

The Tour Will Kick Off In May And Wrap Up In October

Maroon 5 announced a North American tour in 2018 via social media on Thursday. The tour in support of ‘Red Pill Blues’ will kick off in May and wrap up in October.

The band is set to release the new album ‘Red Pill Blues’ on November 3rd. They’re also set to deliver performances in support of the album’s release.

The ‘Red Pill Blues’ tour is coming

Adam Levine and Maroon 5 took to Twitter Thursday morning to deliver exciting news to fans. They announced the dates of the upcoming ‘Red Pill Blues’ tour.

Maroon 5 announced a 33-date North American tour in 2018 in support of their upcoming album ‘Red Pill Blues.’

The tour will kick off on May 30 in Tacoma Washington and will make its way through California, Texas, and Florida. After a summer break, the band will reprise the tour traveling through the East Coast in October.

The tour will conclude with a pair of shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The band will be bringing Julia Michaels, the voice behind the big hit, ‘Issues,’ on the tour.

American Express cardholders can buy tickets starting Monday, Oct. 30 via Ticketmaster. Other fans can buy tickets on Saturday, Nov. 4.

All tickets bought before Nov. 10 come with a free copy of ‘Red Pill Blues.’

Taking on the shelves and the dance floors

The ‘2018 Red Pill Blues Tour’ is in support of the band’s new studio album of the same name debuting Nov. 3. ‘Red Pill Blues’ is the sixth studio album by the band and follows the band’s 2014 ‘V.’

The three-time Grammy winners will release a 10-track standard edition of the album. Also, a deluxe edition with five extra songs.

The LP will feature the band’s recent single, ‘What Lovers Do,’ featuring SZA, as well as collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Julia Michaels, and LunchMoney Lewis.

As for the deluxe edition, it will boast previously released tracks ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ with Kendrick Lamar and ‘Cold,’ featuring Future.

In advance of the album, the band has recently released a series of tracks featuring rappers and R&B singers, including ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ with Kendrick Lamar, ‘Cold’ with Future, ‘What Lovers Do’ with SZA and ‘Whiskey’ with A$AP Rocky.

Their track ‘What Lovers Do’ is Number 19 on the Hot 100 this week.

The band will kick off their ‘Red Pill Blues’ release week with performances on several shows, including ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,’ ‘Today’ and ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show.’
