Movies are a great way to break your routine. They are a perfect escape because they help you transport your life into a whole different setting. They can either take you to a romantic getaway in Paris or a crazy ride with the Italian mafia.

Anyway, we’ve created a list of the top movies you should definitely see either by yourself or with a group of friends surrounded by popcorn and soda.

1. Fight Club (1999)

Hard to miss this cult classic film. It’s an absolute favorite; it has a very strong message, and it’s crazy good. It’ll keep you on the edge of your seat the whole film.

2. Her (2013)

This futuristic movie is all about an artificial intelligence with a conscience and how it have become available for everyone. Theodore will develop a very unusual relationship with his OS. This film will make you consider how technology has changed the whole thing around this millennial era. A must watch!

3. Zoom (2016)

To be honest, the trailer of this movie is very confusing, yet very intriguing.

4. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)

Ok ok, I know what you are about to say, yes, this is an all romantic cheesy movie, but we all need romance at some point, don’t we? Plus, it has an amazing cast with Heath Ledger in the lead role.

5. Bad Moms (2016)

This one is playing now in theaters, starting Mila Kunis. This movie is great for having a great laugh. Just watch the trailer and get an inside look at this great comedy.

6. Shutter Island (2010)

This list wouldn’t be complete without an intense, suspenseful movie and that’s exactly what Shutter Island is. With the amazing role of U.S. Marshall Teddy Daniels played by no other than Leonardo Di Caprio, you won’t even know what’s real and what’s not at the end of the film. Very intense and very worth watching.

7. One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest

I personally think this is one of Nicholson best role ever played. He plays McMurphy, a man who escaped prison by pleading insanity and is sent to live in a mentally unstable ward. It’s really fun to watch him declare war on the nurse Ratched, and how he manages to turn everything upside down.
