Marijuana Microdosing: How Tiny Hits Could Be The Future Of Weed

We Can All Say That Less Is More

A new era for weed lovers is coming. After the  “hell, yes” that voters gave earlier this month, the recreational and medical use of weed is legal in California, Massachusetts, Maine and Nevada for anyone over the age of 21. Meanwhile, in Arkansas, Florida, Montana, North Dakota  the medicinal use was approved.

The drug was already legal in Alaska, Colorado, Washington, Oregon and the District of Columbia. Given marijuana’s new legal status, there’s a mantra becoming more and more popular: less is more.

Micro-dosing

This way of consumption is called micro-dosing and it basically means taking a very small measure and microdose of THC, from about 5 to 10 milligrams. The idea is to get all the effects without abusing. Cool right? So, you can make the most out of it without having the counterproductive effects and enjoying yourself.

The edibles industry’s been in a continued increment in the past few years there’s been a growing investment in the industry, even from celebrities, such as Snoop Dogg.

It seems that the trend is favored by many, as  marijuana is now having a productivity approach. Kiva Christie Strong says that her company’s THC-laced coffee bean bites are a “productivity tool”. Weed is changing, we can say goodbye to the foggy basement clichés and embrace micro dosing.
