These beautiful dogs found the home they were looking for, thanks to this amazing photographer.
Lately, there’s been a movement to increase awareness and action toward different issues in society. These campaigns are fundamental for solving different problems. One of those issues is the number of abandoned dogs living in the streets. It is amazing how we can come together to help and reach incredible results.
Coming together is a cornerstone for solving these problems, and that’s exactly what Richard Phibbs did when he joined the Humane Society of New York, by donating his photographic skills to help portrait rescued dogs.
Richard is a well-known fashion and portrait photographer; he has portrayed top models, celebrities, as well as advertisement and sports related photographies. But in 2012, he joined the initiative to create portraits of dogs up for adoption to help find them “forever homes”. The photographies will be featured in a publication called “Rescue Me”, that’s available since October the 28 this year.
The photographies series will be featured in the book, along with the story of each dog.
The dog’s stories will be written by journalist Richard Jonas.
This is Baxter.
The story will tell the journey from the shocking circumstances of abandonment and rejection…
