Nicki Minaj made history on Monday when she became the Female Artist with More Songs on the Billboard 100. The diva now has more songs on the Billboard Hot 100 than any other female artist.
The record was previously held by Aretha Franklin who had the crown for 40 years. Minaj made the new record with the release of her new songs “No Frauds,” “Regret in Your Tears,” and “Changed It.”

There’s a new female artist with most songs on the Billboard Hot 100 and is Nicki Minaj. On March 18th Nicki tied with Aretha Franklin a total of 73 entries. Then the rapper took the title from Aretha Franklin on Monday, reaching a total of 76 entries. She met this number with her brand new songs “No Frauds,” “Regret in Your Tears,” and “Changed It.”

Nicki made this record only seven years after debuting on the chart. Her first Hot 100 was her 2010 appearance on Lil Wayne’s “Knockout.” Her first entry with lead billing was “Your Love” which peaked at No. 14 n August 2010.
While Franklin has top billing on every one of her entries, Nicki has top billing only in 32 of her entries. The rapper has never reached Number One on the chart.
The diva turned to Instagram to celebrate the big news and thank her fans. Nicki celebrated in her own unique way.
