5.Baywatch
An incredible remake, that people has been talking about for so long that we almost think it’s a lie it’s finally coming out. It has had a lot of publicity through social media. With trailers, posters, and even influencers like Logan Paul. But what is really exciting about it is that Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, and Alexandra Daddario will be starring in it. The movie comes as an R-rated action/comedy. Let’s see what they did with this iconic series. The movie premieres on May 10th.
4.Alien: Covenant
One of the most awaited movies of the countdown. As Ridley Scott got his hands on this new prequel of the Alien franchise. The movie is the follow-up of “Prometheus,” which was a hit. Now Alien: Covenant takes the terror and gore into new levels while also exploring new aspects of the beloved saga. While also showing us that Michael Fassbender is the perfect cold and calculator bad guy. The movie will come out on May 18th.
3.King Arthur: Legend Of The Sword
Guy Richie has a characteristic style that has defined his work. Making you know part of what you will get when you see one of his movies. Which is why “King Arthur: Legend of the Sword” is so exciting. Since many of us would like to see what the director has done with this classic story. As it seems it will have a bit of a “The Prince and the Pauper” touch on it. Besides Charlie Hunnam and Jude Law, there will be David Beckham. Adding another reason to watch the film on May 12th.
2.Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
Sadly the beginning of the end of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise. As it seems it will be Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley’s last time on their roles as Will and Elizabeth Turner. While also introducing us to the adult version of their son Henry. It will bring us a bunch of new characters, but classics like Jack Sparrow and Captain Barbossa will still be around. Discovering a bit of Jack’s backstory. The movie comes on May 26th.
1.Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
One of MCU’s strongest proposals for the year, and also one of the most awaited ones. As it doesn’t only reveal us part of Star-Lord’s past. Revealing us who is his dad. But it also includes new members of the gang, an awesome soundtrack and obviously baby Groot. Do you actually need any other reason? The movie comes out on Cinco (5) de Mayo, really even the release date is awesome.
