Fried chicken lovers beware, this is a lot to take in.
KFC Japan made a huge plot twist in fried chicken’s story. The company introduced this week the new “finger condoms” to prevent their customers from getting greasy fingers. The finger condoms are already available in 222 restaurants in Japan.
After conquering the world with the greasy recipe, the Colonel’s famous franchise is providing their tiny fingers gloves to keep the grease off. Seems like “Finger lickin’ NO good.” So, one can help but wonder, what’s fried chicken without greasy fingers?
Finger lickin’ NO good.
The Colonel wouldn’t approve but it’s happening. KFC Japan introduced earlier this week the “Finger Nap,” which is the short form and more catchy name for finger napkin. The product consists of little plastic gloves that fit over the thumb and index finger, so you can pick the chicken.
Pinky up!
Finger Naps coming in.
Or like I like to call them “finger condoms,” are available in 222 restaurants in Kanto and Kansai regions. The product is being tested before rolling out.
No more greasy fingers, or smartphone.
The company came up with the idea after watching its customers dealing with the dilemma of not touching their smartphones during the meal. Customers used to use napkins around the chicken to pick it up, but since the paper soaked in grease so fast, the company came up with the Finger Nap.
History in the making.
Japanese have attended to KFC to try the novel item of the franchise. With the introduction of these finger gloves, we say goodbye to two things: gloves and greasy fingers. Such an unexpected turn of events.
Breath in, breath out. Change is normal.
Finger condoms are too much for the internet.
When people learned about the new tendency in Japan, they immediately responded.
