Jared Leto Brought Out Hopes Up With A New Instagram Of The Joker And Batman

We Need This Face-Off, People

The actor posted a quite suspicious picture via Instagram on Friday. In the picture, Leto is making his rendition as the Joker as he questions Batman played by Ben Affleck.

Is he trying to say something? Anyways, the picture left a sweet reminder for all of us. The fact that we still haven’t seen a face-off between Affleck‘s Batman and Leto’s Joker.

Let’s talk about Leto’s failed Joker

Leto made his debut as the maniac prince of crime last year in Suicide Squad. He definitely won his fans and the team even won the makeup and hairstyling Oscar. The Clown Prince of Crime turned out to be a major detraction for the movie’s critics.

It was a huge fuzz over the character, after all, it was the latest on-screen incarnation of the Joker since Heath Ledger‘s rendition in The Dark Knight. And no matter how cool it was,

But Leto’s Joker turned out to have a little appearance in the movie, let’s say a cameo, a car chase at the beginning of the movie and a whole lot of implied history along with it.

Having his character vastly cut down in the finished film lead the actor to show his frustration in interviews, and no wonder why, really.

We demand the face-off

For all this, the Instagram feed of the actor has been quite Joker-less, that until Friday when he not only posted a Joker picture but also put something in evidence.

The pretty cool artwork shows something we didn’t have in the movies, a face-off between the epic characters which is something not only nerds dream about.

The picture also points out that the actor still has some affection for the experience. This could mean he might be down for continuing his involvement with the character and a scuffle between the enemies.

We know for a fact that the Joker is not facing Batman in The Justice League, which gathers Aquaman, Wonder Woman, Cyborg, The Flash and The Batman and is set to hit theaters in November.

And even when we’d have to wait to see this epic battle, there are plenty options in which they could include the Joker and develop his story, Suicide Squad 2, Gotham City Sirens, Batgirl.

For now, we’ll have to deal with the expectations for a new scuffle between the two. And we can vote for our favorite villain who’s nominated in the MTV Film and TV Awards as Best Villain.
