That’s what I call great marketing! IKEA renamed some of its products after the most common relationship problems’ Google searches. The campaign is really creative and hilarious, the worldwide retail clearly knows how to say “Here we have the answer to all your problems.”
The Swedish retail teamed up with the Swedish agency Åkestam Holst to launch its most recent campaign “Where Life Happens.” As part of the campaign, IKEA launched the website “Retail Therapy,” which pairs each problem searched in Google with a product they consider could help solve the problem. Since most of the searches are related to relationship problems, the new products names are pretty hilarious.
