Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show gave us one of the best performances of Sir Ian McKellan. The legendary actor recalled the time he met Maggie Smith and she questioned his fashion sense. The result? an amazing and hilarious performance. Ian’s BFF Patrick Stewart and Hugh Jackman, where also in the show, discussing the newest X-Men universe movie, Logan.

Sir Ian McKellen graced the audience with the coolest Maggie Smith impression during his visit to the show. As the Sir recalled a time when he met with the Dame at the Dolby Theater. The actor delivered the funniest Maggie impression, making everybody crack of laughter.

During his recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Sir Ian McKellen recalled a story with Dame Maggie Smith at the 2002 Oscars and boy we had no idea a royal meet could be this funny.

Back in 2002, the actor was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Gandalf in The Lord of The Ring: The Fellowship of the Ring. The actor wore to the ceremony a New Zealand greenstone he was gifted during the filming of the movie that was supposed to bring him luck.

Nailing the impersonation.

The actor met the Dame while walking into the Dolby Theater. She noticed the greenstone, Ian explained to her the origin of the stone and the conversation ended there.

Once the ceremony ended they met again and this time the actress delivered a snarky yet hilarious comment and made sure to bring up Ian’s fashion choice to remark the fact that he had lost, she said, “Didn’t work, did it?” The actor nailed the impression with facial expressions so accurate that people laughed at it.

Coolest episode ever.

Friday’s episode of The Graham Norton Show was epic and not just for the crazy talented Maggie impression. It was really a night full of hilarious moments. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart were on the show as part of the promotion of their new film, “Logan.”

Once there they made sure to have a good time full of crazy things. Patrick Stewart told a hilarious story about how he didn’t know whether or not he was circumcised, and that was just the beginning fo the show.

Joining the mates.

Then Ian McKellen dropped by and surprised his former co-stars and joined the fun. Not only we witnessed the BFF reunion of Ian and Patrick, but we saw how Ian patted Hugh’s arse.

Then Patrick Stewart talked about that he would play “Poop” in The Emoji Movie, and we died of laughter even when it was not a joke. And then these fun trio serenaded James Blunt for his birthday. The musician also dropped by and got the greatest birthday serenade ever!
