Fyre Festival Cataloged As The Worst ‘Luxury’ Festival of All Time

It Was A Complete Bummer, I’ll Tell You That

The anticipated Fyre Festival is the worst festival ever. The first weekend of the ultimate luxury festival was nothing more than a disaster, missing the mark by far.

The unfortunate attendees documented the apocalyptic development of Ja Rule’s big event. We bring you the whole thing.

The ultimate luxury festival.

When it comes to experiences, the Fyre Festival was set to be the ultimate luxury experience. The promo video was filled with high-profile influencers, such as Emily Ratajkowski and Bella Hadid living the one-in-a-lifetime-experience.

It was supposed to be held on the Exumas, in a land previously owned by Pablo Escobar -is there anything screams luxury like good old drug lord Pablo? Eating gourmet food, partying under the sun or on a yacht with la creme de la creme of rich kids. Luxury tents beating those of Coachella’s and hosting performers such as Blink-182, Major Lazer, Migos, and more.

Tickets promising the holy experience were between $1,000 and $250,000, and boy, they were sold. Co-creator Ja Rule promised madness, and he delivered it, only not the kind we hoped for.

The Fyre Festival was a total madness, not in a good way

Signs of Frye’s breakdown started to show once one of the headliners pulled out. Blink-182 announced via social media that they couldn’t deliver the quality of performances that always give fans.

The so promised “private island previously owned by Pablo Escobar,” was actually steps away from a popularly visited Sandals Resort. From that moment things got worse and worse as attendees shared via Twitter their experience filled with chaos and the complete lack of luxuries.

The #FyreFestival shows a rather apocalyptical scenario with luggage just dropped, meals consisting of sandwich and tents that look like everything but luxury tents.

This is how Fyre took care of the attendee’s luggage:

Take a look at the luxury tents

Please, do notice that these are disaster relief tents.

Here’s what the gourmet food looked like

Nothing says gourmet like a sandwich beautifully accompanied by a tomato salad.

The aftermath

On Friday, the Festival that began on Thursday, released a statement in response to the calamity, urging guests on the islands not to arrange travel home as the Festival is doing it.

Even the Bahamian government, who had nothing to do with the festival, also issued an apology and tried to help stranded guests.

Ja Rule is allegedly heartbroken. He deleted every post related to the Fyre, tho. All of this while the apocalyptical disaster took place and even the Government tried to help in,
