Seth Rogen & The Lonely Island Are Making A Movie Like The Fyre Festival

They’re Seriously Thinking Of Suing, Apparently

The Fyre Festival, a luxury music festival in the held on the private island of Great Exuma in The Bahamas, has been the failure of the year. As the “exclusive” experience was titled as a “cultural moment” for millennials with money, as tickets could cost up to $12.780.

The festival was highly promoted through Instagram. As it promised a once in a lifetime experience, that co-organizer Ja Rule defined as “living like movie stars, partying like rock stars, and fucking like porn stars”. But due to the chaos, the two weekends festival turned out to be it has been compared “The Hunger Games” and even ‘The Lord of The Flies”. Since people online have torn apart due to its poor organization.

The 5 stars package were more like 0 stars

The event promise turned out to be too good to be true. As the expectation was to hang around influencers and models, like Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Emily Ratajkowski. While listening to Blink-182, Skepta, Major Lazer, Disclosure and Rae Sremmurd, spending two weekends on luxurious cabanas on a tropical island while eating gourmet food. Offering the improved blend of the Coachella and a seven stars hotel experience.

But headliners Blink-182 pulled out on Friday. After stating that due to the poor infrastructure they wouldn’t perform since they couldn’t guarantee a quality show for the fans. Then other bands started to drop out.  While ticket holders arrived on Great Exumas island to chaotic scenes. As festival-goers discovered that their luxurious facilities, for which they paid highly, were half-built tents for shelter and cheese sandwiches for dinner. Barely reaching above the “refugee camp” level. To round it all up no artists or musical acts.

Fraud Festival

Not only the fact that the bands bale out ruined the Fyre Festival. It also was that the organizers picked an island where “there wasn’t any water or sewage”. As they lack of infrastructure, time and ordered organization to accomplish what they promised. Since even a producer who was hired to work on the festival suggested that the event was doomed to fail since its beginnings.

“When we arrived, my initial reaction was ‘huh’. This was not a model-filled private cay that was owned by Pablo Escobar. This was a development lot covered in gravel with a few tractors scattered around. We were standing on an empty gravel pit and no one had any idea how we were going to build a festival village from scratch”.

After all of that, all the fans who are in the festival have done the impossible to get out. As they’re working to get flights to Miami in order to get them out. While the incoming ones to the festival have been canceled. To what the organizers, Ja Rule and Billy McFarland, have taken social networks to address an apology. Even the Bahamas ministry of tourism, who had nothing to do with it, had released an apology statement. Expressing their that “hundreds of visitors to Exuma were met with total disorganization and chaos”.

The festival has been such a chaos, that even Seth Rogan and the guys from The Lonely Islands are planning to sue them, but for other reasons. As it seems they were already making a movie about a music festival that goes terribly wrong. To what Fyre Fest took their idea and turn it into reality. To what the bunch are thinking of “taking legal actions” for ripping off their idea.
