This London Café’s Stacked Crepe Cakes Are The Definition Of Food Porn

UGH I’m Now Craving Cake.

If there is one reason to be alive it is patisseries and cakes. There is a reason we celebrate our birthdays with them. And maybe that is the motive why there are so many kinds of them in the world. There is danish, french and so on.

But now there is a new “breed” breaking through. And that it’s the Japanese one. Sadly it has not gone worldwide know and you can only enjoy it in a few places outside the Asian island. But for those who live in the U.K., the option is now closer.

Japanese patisseries are making London go crazy.

And that is thanks to Kova Patisserie, that have created this sensation. They’ve become London’s center of this popping Japanese sensation.

Their specialty is the Mille crêpe cake.

If you don’t really know what a Mille crêpe is, is what happens when you stack layers of French crêpes piled up with custard cream.

The secret ingredient.

Matcha is a finely ground powder specially grown that proceeds from green tea. So these cakes are not only delicious, they’re also good for you. So you won’t be breaking your January diet or healthy New Year’s Eve purpose.

Play safe.

If you don’t wanna risk it and rather eat a more traditional flavor cakes. They also have the traditional vanilla, chocolate, and fruit flavors. But you should really try the matcha, as it is their most popular one.

The cost.

The crêpe cake costs £5.50 a slice or £42 if you really loved them and want a whole cake for yourself. As well if you are in a late night sugar crave, the place is perfect for you. They stay open until 9:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays nights.

Asian patisserie menu.

Apart from the crêpe cake, they have a whole menu filled with all sorts of tempting Asian patisseries. Like a matcha tiramisu or a matcha roll. That again, come in all your traditional flavors.

If you can visit them.

So if you happen to be in London, nearby or have a friend in there. Really, pay a visit at Kova and taste their sweets. As they really seem delicious.
