As the world welcomed Trump as the new US President on Friday, Instagram and Twitter witnessed how celebrities gave their final goodbye to the 44th US President. With memories, touching messages, and beautiful words celebrities farewelled Obama and celebrated his time in the White House.

10. Rihanna
Everybody had its own way to say goodbye, and Riri made sure to stay true to herself while saluting the former president. The artist shared a picture of the former president with a funny pose and wearing a t-shirt that said “Supreme”. She completed the picture with her usual sense of humor and, well, a spark of her personality, by captioning it “worst breakup ever”.

Demi kept her message short and clear. She went classic by sharing a picture of the Obamas and the caption “Thank you.” No words needed.

As an active part of the “Let Girls Learn” initiative, Sophia decided to thank and pay respects to former FLOTUS Michelle. On Thursday, the actress shared a picture of Michelle and herself during one of the event’s initiatives. She highlighted the importance of using our voices to make a positive change in the world, which she learned from Michelle.
