Have you ever thought this world doesn’t make sense at all? Well, the guys from Cards Against Humanity think so too. The only difference is that they are getting profit out of it. Even though they are making the smart thing the move from the bitter company is leaving us speechless. And we are not talking about the dark humorous game.
Right now they’re creating a giant hole. For no specific reason at all, they just felt like it. And the craziest part of all, you can donate to them to make it bigger. So yeah, what you just thought they’re getting money out of making practically nothing for it. Here is the live stream.
If you needed more reasons to think that nothing in this world makes any sense. This is not the first time the popular game company does something like this. Last Black Friday Cards Against Humanity raised $71,145 by selling literally nothing for $5 each in an anti-sale. Then they documented what the team bought with the money, in which included things like a divorce attorney, a vibrator and lots of whiskey. Seems legit considering who we are talking about.
As some of the team in that occasion donated part of the money to their favorite charity causes.
Many people wonder and hope in that if the game creators will donate what they collect this time. To what they answered they won’t. In the FAQ “Why aren’t YOU giving all this money to charity? It’s your money.”
There is no limit to the donations
As for the time this was written the guys from Cards Against Humanity had collected an amount of $63,422 in just 35 hours of digging to go. They said the hole digging will continue as long as the money does. “There was no limit to contributions with two people spending more than $1,000 each, as of writing.
And what about after?
If you’re asking if they are planning to do something with it after this whole absurdity ends, the answer again is: “No”. They’re digging it just “because”. Not even doing what you as a child would do to try to get to Atlantis, China, whatever your favorite or imaginary land you will rather insert here.
They motivation is just to make fun of the nonsense of life and the world “you’re supposed to think it’s funny. You might not get it for a while, but sometime next year you’ll chuckle quietly to yourself and remember all this business about the hole.”
People are worrying
So they asked the team if they were doing it at an important place or if they were hurting the environment. To what they very sweetly answered “This was just a bunch of empty land. Now there’s a hole there. That’s life.” So the next time you see a weird kid doing a whole without reason, stop by and ask him to be your business partner it seems to worked for the guys of Cards Against Humanity. Who we thank for making the world a more absurd and stupid place.
