It’s been almost two weeks since the beloved Carrie Fisher passed away, and when it comes to conversations about her, all we hear are praises to her witty, her humor and her personality. Not only friends and co-stars but many people regretted the actress’ passing away.
This time it was Adam Driver who delivered beautiful words honoring his former co-star. With deep respect and admiration he remembered the actress on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert”.

As a part of the promotion for his new movies, Adam Driver visited “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” where he honored the actress with kind words. Talking about her beautiful personality and the tragedy that her death implies.

Adam driver has had a great couple of years, not only he played the villain Kylo Ren in 2015’s Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but also worked this past year with two huge directors, Martin Scorsese in Silence, and Jim Jarmusch in Paterson.

Both Silence and Paterson were premiered in December and as part of the promotion of the movies Adam went to “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” where he discussed how awesome was the experience of working with two of his favorite directors in such great movies.

Adam also talked about “Arts in Arm Forces”, a non-profit project he’s carrying on to bring theater to military people and their families, which includes veterans as well as people on service. Adam, who is a veteran himself, has found a way to support military people through theater by bringing them poetry and contemporary plays.

Then the actor discussed his participation in the Star Wars franchise, where he had the opportunity to meet and work with Carrie Fisher, who played the role of Princess Leia and Adam’s character mother. The actor took the chance to honor the actress.

Adam talked about Carrie saying that she had a great, beautiful and very generous energy that spreads all over the place, that will be missed in the Star Wars family. He said:”When you see her around at a Star Wars event or anywhere, to have her character – not only her character in the movie [but who she is as a person] – missing from that very small unit is a tragedy.”
He also noted that her passing away was a tragedy and a lost. Not only for her talent, but for her being an exceptional human being.
