Is that time of the year again, and we’re all sharing the joy and feeling grateful for another year. We’re also listening to our favorite Christmas hits, and singing from the bottom of our heart.

10. That doesn’t seem that jolly!

Originally the lyrics to “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” had a pretty depressive follow, it used to say “it may be your last”, but the song was jollied up for the film “Meet Me In Saint Louis.”

9. Say goodbye to a beardless face.

Last time George Michael was filmed without a beard was in the video “Last Christmas.”

8. The best selling single of all times. Hits material.

Irving Berlin’s song “White Christmas” reached success with Bing Crosby’s version, that has over 50 million copies.

At first, the idea of Rudolph’s red nose was rejected, since having a red nose was a signifier of alcoholism. It was a brilliant idea after all!

Lennon’s “Happy Xmas (War Is Over),” was the result of Lennon realizing that the best way to deliver political messages in his lyrics was putting them with a little honey.
