Woman Claims Chris Brown Drugged and Raped Her; Demands For $20 Million

A woman identified as Jane Doe, 32, in a court filing has accused rapper Chris Brown of drugging and raping her on December 30, 2021. The woman also said Brown forced her to take a drug to terminate any possible pregnancy the morning following the rape incident, adding that it happened aboard a yacht. She wants $20 million for the emotional and economic damage she suffered on account of the experience.

According to a filing at the Los Angeles Superior Court, Doe who identified herself as a choreographer and singer, said she met Brown at the Star Island, Florida home of rapper Sean Combs (Puff Daddy). She claimed to be having a FaceTime chat with a friend who was aboard a yacht at Combs home, and that Brown was with her friend on the yacht.

She noted that Brown collected the phone from her friend and invited her over to the house, saying he had heard about her music career and would want to meet with her. Furthermore, she said she hurried over and after chatting briefly with Brown, he took her to the yacht’s kitchen where he presented her with a “red cup with a mixed drink.”

Doe stated that after the first drink, Brown provided her with tips on how to excel in the music industry before filling her cup the second time. Then she “began to feel a sudden, unexplained change in consciousness” and later felf “disoriented, physically unstable, and started to fall in and out of sleep.”

At this point, the woman said the Grammy-winner took her to a bedroom, where he removed her bikini bottoms and had sex with her. She said he would not listen to her weak pleas until he had had his way with her. She said the singer even took her phone and then texted himself on it, so he could have her number. She added that the following day, Brown texted her and demanded that she take a pill to remove any possible pregnancy.

Represented by attorneys George Vrabeck and Ariel Mitchell, Doe is demanding for $20 million to compensate for the “severe emotional distress, physical manifestations of emotional distress, emotional anguish, fear, anxiety, humiliation, depression, and other physical and emotional injuries, and damages (both economic and noneconomic)” she suffered.

“I hope y’all see this pattern of [lie],” Brown responded on Instagram. “Whenever I’m releasing music or projects, they try to pull some real bulls—t.”

In 2009, Brown agreed that he assaulted singer Rihanna when they dated; but he denied rape charges brought against him by a woman in 2019. The woman claimed the rapper raped her in a Paris hotel, but Brown filed a defamation complaint against the woman.
