Christmas decorations got a new meaning for this family! 2016 has taken with it some of the greatest personalities, one of them was Prince. And as the end of the year approaches, we get in a melancholy mood.
A Minnesota-based family decided to honor the huge artist with their Christmas decoration and is a real show, it even has “Purple Rain.” The family lives in Chaska, coincidentally five minutes away from Prince’s Paisley Park recording studio.
Way to go, people.
Light Show Prince Tribute.
The show consists of a five-minute light show to honor the legend.
So long, legend.
The passing of the legend earlier this year affected the community, so the Staudt family decided to make a display for the idol during their Christmas light show. This family takes really seriously their decoration, so this display is really a tribute to the legend.
Too much.
10,000 lights.
The family started the show as a Christmas celebration, and the display is made of over 10,000 lights that are run by computer-controlled channels that allow the lights to change their colors, and other effects synchronized to Christmas music.
Christmasssss!!
“Lights on Pascolo.”
Every year the family sets their light displays, that usually starts with a “Star Wars” theme and then goes to play Snoop Dogg’s Christmas song. This year is played “Purple Rain” as pictures of the singer are showed.
