Hey Sasha Obama has some rapping pontential!
Rapping skills run in the Obama family, we proved this during the Obama’s last Lighting of the National Christmas Tree on the Ellipse. The Ceremony was hosted by Eva Longoria and had many musical performances such as Kelly Clarkson, Garth Brooks, James Taylor, The Lumineers, Yolanda Adams and Chance the Rapper.
Barack and Michelle watched the ceremony from the crowd, with their youngest daughter Sasha. Who seemed to enjoy it, especially when Chance The Rapper performed “Sunday Candy”, a song that Sasha lip-synced all the way trough.
Rap skills is a family thing for the Obamas.
Probably one of the coolest moments of Michelle as the First Lady was that time she rapped about going to college and many other things.
National tree full of lights.
So the Obamas held their last ceremony of the Lighting of the National Christmas Tree on Thursday. The president lit up the Tree and wished everybody a “Merry Christmas” and the family waved to the audience, to then enjoy the ceremony.
Look at that awsome tree!
There was a lot of singing.
President Obama sang jingle bells along the musical guests.
Slaying it
While the family was watching the performance, the cameras caught Sasha singing along to Chance The Rapper, while he performed “Sunday Candy”. This girl has some skills!
Way back.
Chance and Barack know each other for a while now, since Chance’s dad was Obama’s state director when he was senator of Illinois. The rapper has been at the White House, three times during this past year. He even got Chance’s music in his summer list.
Feel it girl!
Sasha lip singed the whole performance and seemed to really enjoy it. Fun fact, Barack considers Jay-Z, Kendrick Lamar and Chance The Rapper his favorite rappers, but know we know who is another huge fan!
We’re definitely gonna miss the Obamas.
