During The Tonight Show on Thursday, Migos performed their number one hit Bad and Boujee along with The Roots and Jimmy Fallon, only this time they changed the toy instruments for office supplies.
The Atlanta hip-hop trio also performed T-Shirt during the show and even made it snow, just like in their video, this time in the traditional Tonight Show stage. Furs were included of course!
Office supplies.
Scotch tape, staplers, computers, and paper are perfect instruments when it comes to making music. If you don’t think so, then just watch this dope rendition of Bad and Boujee delivered by Migos, The Roots, and the one and only Jimmy Fallon.
Bad and Boujee
Migos delivered an extra special version of their hit Bad and Boujee with The Roots and Jimmy. Gathering around a desk and wearing work attire, ties and all, the two bands and the host started playing in their tiny office.
They used empty water coolers, rulers, calculators, paper, scissors and scotch tape to recreate the melody and beat of the song.
Reinventing.
The rendition was the very first delivery of the new silly yet creative show’s segment Office Supplies. In which musical guests will play one of their songs in the tiny office with The Roots.
The Atlanta trio also performed their hit T-Shirt on the actual stage. The trio looking dope in colored furs all set to make it snow. Both singles are part of their album Culture.
Releasing Culture.
The group released their second album, Culture, in January 2017. Their first single Bad and Boujee was on top of the Billboard Hot 100 when it was first released, becoming Migos’ first number one single in the US.
The band released the official videos for Bad and Boujee and T-Shirt which have gone viral. On March 17 the trio performed at SXSW. The band is currently on tour and will perform in Kentucky this weekend.
Work and collaborations.
Back in January Migos confirmed their collaboration with Childish Gambino is definitely happening. This comes after they worked together during an episode of Atlanta, now we’re just waiting for it.
In late February, Calvin Harris dropped a single, Slide, which became a hit within hours. The single is a collaboration with Frank Ocean and Migos. These guys are taking the world, for sure!
