“Unfortunately, Lady Gaga is suffering from severe pain that has had a material impact on her ability to perform live,” her team said in part to the statement.

In a statement shared on social networks a bit more personal, Lady Gaga said she was devastated to cancel the shows. It included stops in London, Zurich, Stockholm, Berlin and Paris.

“I promise to return to your city. But for now, I need to put myself and my welfare first,” she said.
