Kylie Jenner revealed on Christmas morning her “little surprise gift for the world”, a short film directed by her favorite photographer Sasha Samsonova. The two found an “oasis… our secret little place in Venice,” to shoot the film. The idea of the video was to show a personal experience “It’s like you’re watching this person from a point of view that has never been seen before.” Although I think we’ve seen this a lot.
It’s a very sexy video showing Kylie in a wet shirt, her boyfriend Tyga joined her to make it even hotter. I mean, the only thing new is the teenager smoking a cigarette. Sasha loves to work with Jenner “It fell into place very, very naturally,” she added. “It just happened.”
The video is bare.
Not only because we can see a lot of Kylie’s skin, but the whole point was to create a “super raw footage,” Jenner collaborated a lot and Samsonova said, “this one feels so much more mature.” She laughed. “And not just because of the nudity.”
Kylie looked really comfortable.
The photographer and the reality star have worked together in the past, from Kylie Cosmetic’s publicity to raw shoots, they have created a special bond, making Jenner looked relaxed even when smoking a cigarette, something that she doesn’t do IRL.
There wasn’t postproduction.
“As soon as my shoots with Kylie come out, so many people write on my page and rant about how it’s all Photoshop, Photoshop, Photoshop. But the thing about this video is that there’s no post-production work whatsoever. It’s only cut together. It’s very raw, and we tried to keep it that way—no skin retouching, nothing.” said Sasha.
Kylie took off her entire clothes.
You can see a lot of covering with the hands but the girl was completely naked, except when the rapper was touching her.
The video irradiated steam.
It’s very captivating, even for Samsonova who didn’t even notice Tyga stripping down and joining the “action”.
Jenner was deeply involved with the making of the video.
Sasha chose the song for the video, one track byNiaa, but Kylie started to make some decisions “We go through each step of the process together,”. I find the video predictable but it is really well done.
