Kyle Schwartz, a teacher in Denver, started a social media movement after her classroom assignment “I Wish My Teacher Knew” went viral.
The teacher created the trust-building task so she could know a bit little more of her students. So, it consisted of each student writing down something they would like their teacher to know. As a matter of fact, the results were very touching and even heartbreaking.
“As a new teacher, I struggled to understand the reality of my students’ lives and how to best support them. I just felt like there was something I didn’t know about my students,” Schwartz told ABC News in a recent interview.
Moreover, the initiative was so powerful that now a lot of teachers are giving their students the same assignment.
Overall these are a few of the most distressing answers, what do you think?
