It was about time we heard some words from the 69-year-old former secretary of state Mrs. Clinton, who has dedicated her entire life to defend women´s rights.
On Monday, Mrs. Hillary Clinton made her first public statement since the inauguration. She addressed the Women’s March on Washington in a new video for the 2017 Makers Conference.
The Future is Female
She used this video to remember all women that we are “the heroes and history makers, the glass ceiling breakers of the future”. Emphasizing that “never doubt you are valuable and powerful and deserving of every opportunity and every opportunity in the world.”
She also explained that despite the challenges America was facing, she remain convinced that “the future is female”. Clinton also brought out the amazing energy we saw last month when women organized a march that galvanized millions of people all over the country.
What do others have to say?
Even when we might not hear much about her unstoppable battle, some organizations remind us why Clinton plays a fundamental role in this fight, which is aimed at defending women’s right. President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards stated: “Secretary Clinton is a global leader committed to advancing the reproductive health and rights of women and girls worldwide.”
Terry O’Neill who is the National Organization for Women President also added: “Hillary Clinton has been a trailblazer for women with an impressive record of public service. She puts women’s rights At the forefront.¨
First post-election endeavor
So it is no surprise that such eminence ends her statement, announcing that in early February the first post-election endeavor would be writing to book of personal essays and her favorite quotations.
The personal experience this woman has will assure success. Wait for it girls!
