The Grammy Nominations Are Oficially Here, Take A Look!

Looks Like The Battle Is Among The Great Ones.

You may think that since the year is about to end, nothing exciting happens, but that´s not quite true.  On Tuesday December 6th, the official nominees for the Grammy Awards were announced. The ceremony will take place on February 12, 2017.

The ceremony will celebrate the 59th Grammy Awards. Meghan Trainor revealed contestants for the marquee category on a  live CBS show. Among the big names we have Rihanna with 8 nominations, which are the same as Kanye West, at the top of the list we find Queen B with 9 nominations.

General:

This category includes the awards for Album of The Year, Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist. Adele has three nominations in this field. She’s a nominee for Album Of The Year with her LP “25”. Her single “Hello” is on the run for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year.

Adele and Justin Bieber have two nominations each,for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance. Meanwhile, The Chainsmokers compete for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, they put on a show with the song Closer at this year’s AMA’s, they even invited one of the members of Blink 182 who’s band is mentioned in the song.
