Drake Raps About Drunk-Texting JLo In His New Album

So, Were They Together Or What?

We are obsessed with celebrities. For some reason, their lives have a special glance and we need to know more about them. What they like, how they got into where they’re, what they eat and especially who are they dating. So when Drake and Jennifer Lopez started spending too much time together the rumors were served.

As this last aspect seems to have a bit of a fairy tale touch. To the point, it fills tabloids and magazine cover time after time. Also, the speculation and the rumors that get around are what the people love the most, especially when they get out of hand.

Almost dating.

For a moment during December Drake and J-Lo were very in love with each other. As they took pictures together, cuddling and so on, making us all though that they might’ve been dating. Or at least creating music together.

So when Drake revealed his new album “More Life” on Saturday it seemed weird that Jennifer Lopez didn’t appear as a guest on any song. Especially since the whole record is full of collaborations. Including Kanye West, Quavo, Travis Scott, 2 Chainz, Giggs, manyYoung Thug, PARTYNEXTDOOR, much more.

The J-Lo touch.

Even though J-Lo is not featuring in any track she is still present on many references through the songs’ lyrics. As the opening track “Free Smoke,” has a pretty clear “hint” toward her. Since Drake raps on his lyrics that he texts J-Lo while drunk but apparently, she is not interested in hanging around him anymore as he has her old number.

“I drunk text J-Lo; Old number, so it bounce back; Boi-1da got the bounce back.” The second appearance that J-Lo gets to do on the album is in “Teenage Fever,” as Drake samples her classic “If you had my love.” All of this have feed the internet conspiracy theorists and the media since the leads are kind of clear.

Still leaving in Drake’s heart.

Even though all of this has lead to the internet to speculate about just what Drake was up to. There is still one last point that adds more gas to the whole situations. Being that starting match the song “Get it Together.”

Since the song was playing in the background of the now-infamous J-Lo and Drake promotional video. Also, in the song that is recorded on the album the guest artist is Jorja Smith. Instead of Jennifer Lopez, once again we are left with a Drake cd that talks about heartbreak, confessions and full of what ifs of “If you had my love.”
