Crossing a street is a regular task that we do on a daily basis; pretty basic, and pretty boring. Although, this might be about to change. A Bulgarian artist, Christo Guelov, is reinventing the pedestrian stripes. He is turning the crossings in Madrid into masterpieces of bright colors and geometric figures.
The project is called Funnycross. According to the artist; “Funnycross uses zebra crossings to intervene in the urban landscape,” writes the artist. “The metaphor “A bridge between two shores” is the starting point of this artistic intervention.”
